Orthodox Anglican Church

The Orthodox Anglican Church believes:

  • The Bible is God’s Word written. The Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are divinely inspired, and contain all things necessary to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
  • The Sacraments of the Church are God’s Word in action. The Dominical Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion are ordained by our Lord Jesus Christ for all Christians.
  • The written Word and the holy Sacraments are joined together and rightly proclaimed in the classic editions of The Book of Common Prayer.  (Editions 1662, 1928 – US, 1929 – Scottish, and 1962 – Canadian.)
  • The Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds are to be taught in the Church and to be received by the Faithful.
  • Christian Marriage is a sacred bond between a man and a woman.
  • The Ordained Ministry of the Church is reserved to godly men.
1928 Prayer Book Alliance
The 1928 Prayer Book Alliance celebrates our freedom to worship as we believe with the 1928 Book of Common Prayer. The traditional Book of Common Prayer, based on the Holy Bible, is widely acclaimed as one of the greatest books ever written in the English language. It sets the standard for worship throughout the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion.
Prayer Book Society
he Society exists to promote Anglican belief and worship as expressed in the Common Prayer tradition and Anglican formularies since the first Book of Common Prayer of 1549, in the Church of England, and on through the 1928 Prayer Book down to the present day: worship is at the heart of Christianity and the Common Prayer tradition is at the heart of Anglican worship.
Forward in Faith
Forward In Faith North America (FIFNA) is a fellowship of Bishops, Clergy, Laity, Parishes, and Religious Orders who embrace the Gospel of Jesus Christ, who uphold the Evangelical Faith and Catholic Order which is the inheritance of the Anglican Way, and who work, pray and give for the reform and renewal of the Church. We are a teaching organism with a mission of teaching the catholic faith as received, practiced and passed on in the Anglican Communion.
